Can I be seen if I live anywhere in New York State?
Yes! IntegralMed sees patients 18 years and older living anywhere within the state of New York. As a reminder, patients must be physically in New York state for the length of the virtual appointment.
Does IntegralMed take insurance?
Currently IntegralMed is a self-pay, cash-based business. But stay tuned; insurances will be accepted within the next 2-6 months!
Can I submit a superbill to my insurance for reimbursement?
Yes! Superbills are always offered to patients for submission to their insurance companies for out-of-network benefit coverage. Patients may be able to receive partial or full reimbursement for their virtual visits.
Can I be prescribed a controlled substance by IntegralMed?
Schedule 4 controlled substances may be prescribed dependent on patient condition, level of need, as well as risks and benefits of treatment modality.
Is the telehealth platform HIPAA and privacy secured?
Yes. Virtual visits are conducted through the Optimantra electronic health record (EHR) system which is fully HIPAA compliant as well as legally secured for telehealth care.
